As a psychotherapist, I really enjoy walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate through life’s difficult pathways to those of change, healing, and growth. Deciding to come to counseling is a courageous decision which offers the opportunity to focus on oneself and to sort out the issues.
I strive to help couples and families shift from fighting with each other to enjoying each other; to help individuals step away from damaging behaviors and patterns; and to help adolescents gain and enhance their strengths and identity. I provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment in which to take the next right step towards new and healthy patterns of being.
My Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is from Brandman University, part of Chapman University, and I have additional training in Mediation/Conflict Resolution and specialized training in EMDR, a trauma-based therapy. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
